It all starts with a flight, well 2 flights!!

Flight number one of our epic journey to China took us from Newcastle Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Now there's a chic airport if ever a small monkey has seen one! Parisian style shops, wine and cheese, coffee and Croquembouche, lovely!!!!! I like flakey pastry but it does cause havoc with me fur and don't get me started with cream and jam, the result is normally the need for a bath!!!

I think dear readers I mentioned in an earlier blog my dislike of the whole security check thingy, I mean the X-ray machine, does the world really need to see me stuffing???? I digress..........

After a quick coffee and a stamp around duty free, oh I mustn't forget a big thank you to the lovely lovely French lady who offered me a nip of single malt and quick spray of the old Jean Paul Gaultier we boarded our China Eastern plane, our destination, Shanghai!!!!!

Paris to Shanghai is a bum crushing eleven and a half hours! Thankfully China Eastern is a comfortable airline and offered us tasty treats every couple of hours or so!

Flying through the night even allowed me to grab some monkey beauty sleep which is more than the folks managed!!!!!

At 7am local time/midnight GMT we landed at Shanghai Pudong Airport.

The adventure had begun!!!!!
