As much as I love tenting and camper van(ing) sometimes, just sometimes you need to spoil yourself and go posh! We did on our China adventure, well posh came with the holiday package! Three magnificent meals a day, sumptuous hotel rooms and lets be honest quite pricey beer!!!! Using our Xi'an crash pad as an example never ever has a small monkey relaxed in such posh surroundings!!!!!! Never!!!!!!

<-----------------------------Relaxing at the New Century Hotel downtown Xi'an.

I forgot to mention that everything, well almost everything is made of silk, including my pillows and duvet!! Lovely!

So.......how posh was our accommodation I hear you cry? Well lets start with the bathroom.

Fabulous lighting, streamed music, big bath, two, I say two toilets (apparently you wash your bits in one of them...............bit confused by that........) and a shower SOOOOOOO posh and clever that the folks had no idea how it worked, resulting In Mum almost breaking her foot and had sticking his head through a glass panel!!!!! Silly peeps!!!!!!

The nose bag wasn't bad either.....I mean how many different breakfasts does a small monkey need??? Mum however Is part Hobbit and normally has two breakfasts!!!! Every type of breakfast was available from English, American, Chinese, European! How was I supposed to choose???

<<<<<<<<<------------------Mum enjoying a fabulous local breakfast.

Enjoying one of the local brews......£12.50 a bottle at the bar, 49p at the local corner shop! --------------------------------------------------------------------->>>>>>>

<<<<<<<------------Enjoying a cheeky coffee in Shnghai

All in all posh is good. We are a family of seasoned travellers, when we lived in the Philippines we stayed in beach huts quite a bit, now Angus our camper van provides our bed for the night, however, "take me to the Jin Jang Hau Ting Towers" coz it really was smashing!!!!

Tatty bye for now
