Una Kuscheh-o!!!! That’s Krio for hello everybody!!!!! Aw di body???? How you doing??? Di bodi fayn! I’m very well!!! T’is I Edward Lovemonkey reporting from the West African country of Sierra Leone and it’s HOT HOT SCORCHIO HOT!!!!!

Following our boat trip to Aberdeen, yes I’m still confused, we were picked up by a smashing chap called Umar and he only picked us up in a CLASSIC TOYOTA LAND CRUISER complete with snorkel and big tyres just like on the TV!!!!! The trip was short and soon we were escorted into 26 Greenfields, Lumley Beach, Freetown, our new home! What a cracking gaff!!! Open living and dinning space, big master bedroom for the folks complete with en-suite, kitchen, second happy house (that’s what the Chinese call the loo don’t cha know?) and four more bedrooms!! I mean come on how many rooms does a small monkey really need? We even have three balconies and those slippy floor tiles that are great fun if like me you have fluffy feet!!!!

Simple living, gas bottle cooker, bit like Angus (sniff sigh sniff) but bigger, kinda running water, bottled drinking water on an industrial scale and well electricity. Not sure my mate in Berwick John Grieve- electrical services would approve, but hey ho it works….most of the time.

Anyway, the electric has just been switched on which means the fridge is on.. going to sit in there awhile and cool my boiling monkey toes!!!!!
